Willie Randolph keeps job, Mets keep losing (AP)

Florida Marlins' Hanley Ramirez throws out New York Mets' Damion Easley at first base during the ninth inning of the Major League Baseball game Monday, May 26, 2008 at Shea Stadium in New York. The Marlins beat the Mets, 7-3.

Willie Randolph kept his job — for now. Meanwhile, the New York Mets kept losing. After their embattled manager had a much-anticipated meeting with ownership Monday, the Mets got another ineffective outing from Mike Pelfrey and fizzled on offense following a strong start in a 7-3 loss to the Florida Marlins.
